Lamborghini Ankonian, what Batman would drive

Car design is advancing faster each year and prototypes are becoming more and more actual projects. The pursue of performance, especially the great one, is an aspect that drove can engineers to take a look into airplane aerodynamics to build super cars that push the limit on record speed and design.

Italian automaker Lamborghini has developed a car project that makes you think it's coming from the future, but that future might be closer than we thought. They started with the Reventon which looks like a jet fighter for shapes and interiors, it is clearly a bold step towards a new direction where probably many will follow.

Now Lamborghini decided to bring things a notch up with another revolutionary car called Ankonian. The first thing you will think is "This belongs to Batman!". The shape is like nothing you ever seen, it has corners and edges that are futuristic enough to make people stand for it or despise it.

Designer Slavche Tanevsky managed to take the Reventon design and shape it into something more aggressive and futuristic, it should also feature a more environment-friendly specs but nothing hybrid for the moment. Most probably it will have a more efficient aerodynamic coefficient that allows the car to cut the air generating less drag, a lighter weight maybe with newer construction materials and a new engine with reduced emissions and a better mileage.

The name "Ankonian" comes from a kind of bull with fine black hairs and indeed this car looks fine for its original shape. The corners and the cuts push this design closer to resemble a stealth fighter (picture above with the F-117). But the first thing that comes to mind if this is the next bat-mobile for the upcoming Batman movie. Although this looks more stylish than the current bat-mobile, it is indeed a work of art as this design could be the model for future Lamborghini cars.
